Heirlooms & The Connections that Bind Us

This mini-documentary was created for the multimedia division of Garnet & Black Magazine, a student-run publication at the University of South Carolina. Initially, my goal was to capture behind-the-scenes footage of a photo story featuring models wearing their own family heirlooms. However, during the shoot, I realized that documenting the models’ thoughts and feelings about their heirlooms was essential to fully convey the meaning and story behind the project. With videography and editing done by me, the final product tells four individual stories of legacy, human emotion, and relationships.
