C.A.T Project

This mini-documentary spotlights a local nonprofit, The Cat Around Town Project (C.A.T. Project), dedicated to controlling cat overpopulation in the Columbia area. Their proactive approach includes spaying and neutering stray cats, as well as facilitating adoptions into foster and permanent homes. Featuring an interview with volunteer Fran Sawyer, I aimed to highlight what makes this organization so special. Many of the cat footage clips were filmed at the C.A.T. Project’s Kitty Cafe, a monthly event where the community can interact with the kittens and cats available for adoption. Through this video, I hoped to touch people’s hearts, as many of us have a soft spot for innocent animals and those who work tirelessly to help them.
